Classes will be given to fight diabetes

Diabetes is a major cause of death among the people of Laredo and Webb County, and to slow its progression, the Laredo Medical Center will begin a free program to teach people how to control this disease.

LAREDO, TX .- “Yes, I can control my diabetes,” is the name of the special program that will begin this Thursday, February 2nd and will run until March 15th.

For this program LMC will partner with Texas AgriLife Extension Service from Texas A&M International University.

Persons may receive seven different classes for free that will teach them how to fight diabetes effectively, and how to control it so they do not bring serious consequences. Read Full Article
